Founded in 2008 the Asheville
Irish Road Bowling Association is carrying on a tradition that is centuries old.
Irish Road Bowling is an ancient sport
that is beginning to gain a place in the mountains of Western North Carolina. In 1995 Irish Road Bowling was imported
into West Virginia and introduced to the eventual co-founders of the Asheville Irish Road Bowling Association. Currently
our matches are small as we continue to slowly introduce the sport to locals.
We are always looking for new members so feel free to join us.
